This change of time is facilitated through the crown and is a novel idea that hasn't been seen before. The GMT hand is in the form of a disc in the middle of the dial and the white and red arrow show the reference time. The overall look of the watch may have suffered due to this but it more than compensates for it in the aspect of functionality.

The annual calendar feature by Rolex which is called SAROS shows the date and month. This calendar shows the date under a magnifying lens on the sapphire crystal at 3 o'clock and the month in a darkened rectangle just outside the hour indicator ring. This calendar will only need adjusting at the end of February. The Sky Dweller will be initially available in only white gold, yellow gold and the trademark Rolex Everose gold with the stainless steel model to come later.
